I do commissions pinup in my little style or cartooning style.
Commissions will be on 8.5x11 or 11x17 Card Stock or Strathmore 2 ply board unless other arrangements are agreed upon.
Pencil-Drawing Single Figure $50_Inked-Drawing Single Figure-add $75_Coloring - digital coloring or watercolor or markers $100_an 11x17 hi quality color print will be included. Larger sizes are available upon negotiation.

I've decided to resume doing private commissions based on rising demands. Commission prices are based on demand and more specifically time allowances. You can get a much less expensive sketch at a Convention, but the there is a clear difference in quality of a convention sketch and a commission I do at home.
I prefer "cartoons" characters such as Powers and other creator-owned characters, but I'm open to others as well.

Two characters 11x17 - $125

Shipping is free for U.S. mailing. All shipping is done U.S. Post Office, If you insist on another service, I wave ALL RESPONSIBILITY for the shipping. International shipping will greatly vary in price.

Private use or full right to art work commissions rates are below. His current wait time for commissions is 8 weeks. Rest assured, it's worth the wait. These are NOT convention quality sketches - much better. Artist retains rights to private commissions. 11" x 17" Commissions 8.5"x11"is half the price of the 11"x17"
$350 pencils 11x17 single character
$500 pencils 11x17 two or three characters
$450 pencils/inks 11x17 single character
$600 pencils/inks 11x17 two or three characters
$500 - "rendered pencils" or Portrait single character commissions
*These prices are general guidelines. The price could be more or less depending on the amount of detail required for the commission. If the piece is going to be published or if you need rights to the creation, please send me the details and/or a proposal for a quote.

COMMISSIONS WORK

For Independent publishers seeking professional help in producing their own company characters. M-Studios is all the individual creative talents you need. I (Michael McClain) believe that skills and work experience will be a qualified candidates for any job you need.

* I will collect all the information for your project and then contact you on the prices.
* Prices will be determined on a job-to-job basis.
* Assignments will be completed in the order they are received. Most projects take 2 to 3 months to finish.
* Be advised that I will not start work on any commission work until I receive half your payment.
* All jobs are paid in U.S. money orders or from a checking account and shipping costs apply and will be paid by the buyer.
* Artwork will be done in the standard sized area for comic book art, 11x17 paper size 10x15 drawing area.(will not work on any size smaller or larger--for comic book).

* Any original 8x11 quick sketch drawing of your characters or somebody elses characters, no more then two figures per page, inking will cost extra and coloring will be also extra.( look at art gallery for samples), quick sketch start as low as $30 a sketch.
